San Diego, CA (June 6th, 2021)
The Oceanside Dutch Lions FC women's soccer team kicked off their inaugural 2021 WPSL season with an away game at Mission Bay High School, versus ASC San Diego. The Dutch Lions had a strong start to the game with several early scoring opportunities, unfortunately those missed chances would come back to haunt them as ASC San Diego went on to win their home opener by a score of 3-0.
"Proud of the way the girls competed until the end. I think the result doesn't accurately reflect the team's performance but we have to take advantage of our chances. We have a very important week of training ahead of us and we look forward to it."

The Oceanside Dutch Lions FC look to bounce back at their next game, which is scheduled for this upcoming Sunday (June 13th) at 12:00PM at Del Norte High School versus Breakaway FC.
