The SoCal Dutch Lions FC women's team also won their second game of the season, beating a strong San Diego Strikers 1-0 at home at Army and Navy Stadium in front of approximately 200 fans. Same as in game vs San Diego Parceiro Ladies, Vanessa Cruz scored the only goal of the game.
San Diego Strikers came into the game with a 3-0-0 record and defending their Conference Championship from last year winning every game.
The Lions are now on the road and play Breakaway SC (0-3-0, 0 points) on June 15 at 8pm.
