The SoCal Dutch Lions FC women's team kicked off the 2022 WPSL season with a 1-0 win vs San Diego Parceiro Ladies on Sunday afternoon at Army and Navy Stadium in Carlsbad. Over 250 people attended the opening game.
Forward Vanessa Cruz scored the game winner in the 91st minute of the game securing 3 points for the Lions.
The Lions stay at home and are back in action on Saturday June 11, when they play conference leaders San Diego Strikers at 4.30pm.
